In my first year as dean, one thing has become clear: this community is exceptional. I’ve been grateful for the chance to meet so many of you and to see firsthand the people, programs, and partnerships that give this school its character. Our annual magazine, Advocate, shares a few of the stories that define who we are—rooted in an extraordinary city, shaped by the Northwest, and committed to meaningful work inside and outside the classroom.
As we look to 2026, I’m grateful for the chance to continue this work alongside you. In the coming year, we’ll keep engaging the community as we shape our next set of priorities, strengthen our programs, and support our students as they prepare to enter a profession that needs their energy and judgment. I’m excited for what we can build together and for the impact this law school will continue to have in our city and beyond.
