Help us endow this scholarship for future generations of native students.

Dear Salutation,

I am writing to you today as a fellow Lewis & Clark alumna and co-chair of the newly re-established Native Alumni Association. This is an exciting time for our community, and we are working to establish a scholarship that will have a lasting impact.

We are raising funds to create an endowed scholarship for undergraduate students with financial need, with a preference for students who have a demonstrated interest in Native American history, culture, or communities. This scholarship will provide a permanent source of support for Native students, a group that is underrepresented on campus.

Lewis & Clark President Robin Holmes-Sullivan has generously offered to match the funds we raise, which gives us an incredible opportunity to make a difference. Our goal is to raise $25,000 by the end of the calendar year to ensure we can meet this match and get this fund started.

Support the Native Alumni Association Scholarship

Please join us in this effort. Your gift, no matter the size, will help us create a more inclusive and supportive community at Lewis & Clark. If your company offers matching funds, please be sure to take advantage of that opportunity to double your impact.

Thank you for your commitment to education and Native and Indigenous cultures and traditions.

Sincerely,

Karen Graves Pyrch '86
Co-Chair, Native Alumni Association

P.S. President Holmes-Sullivan’s matching offer means your gift has double the impact! Make your gift before the end of the year to help us secure this match and establish the scholarship.
